I am really excited and delighted to announce that I have been appointed as the Irish coordinator for a group called Vital Force 100. Our role is to promote chiropractic to students across Europe so that they may consider this great profession for themselves. I have committed to training in Barcelona this year and will then be delivering talks to students and parents in Ireland who may want to know more about how to study to be a chiropractor. We need more chiropractors worldwide so I have decided to get involved in this. There are something like 70,000 chiropractors in the US yet under 2,500 in Europe. We need more chiropractors in Ireland (and Europe) to make it more mainstream.
I will also be getting more involved in the politics of chiropractic next year. I will be more involved with the Chiropractic Association of Ireland (CAI) and want to be involved in getting legislation setup for chiropractic in Ireland.
So, lots in the pipeline and lots of work to do but I am looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead!
